Real Estate has been part of my life for almost 15 years. I’ve been blessed with amazing clients, now friends, and am enjoying the success of hard work! My office itself is located in the quaint village of Magnetawan which is centrally located in the middle of my selling area. Driving around the beautiful Muskoka and Parry Sound area is how I spend much of my time. Niblitz, my Shorkie-poo is usually along for the ride, or underfoot at the office.
The Market:
The year 2020 has had some unique challenges thanks to Covid 19. The Parry Sound-Muskoka Real Estate market was incredibly hot. With far more buyers than properties available, a sellers market emerged. Prices were pushed up and the result was multiple offers in most cases. At this time 2021 looks to be more of the same.
Buying in 2021:
Most importantly, as a Buyer, is to connect with a real estate agent that you trust and get on their auto-updates. Listings that meet your criteria will be sent directly to your email as soon as they are listed. Timing will be the crucial factor this year. Properties are often sold within days if not hours of being listed. As more and more people discover that they can work from home, the trend has been to get out of the city. Families want to head north where there is more green space, lots fresh air, and far less population.
